Let's Dish...We did it again!

Daughter and I once again cooked dinner.

For us. Appetizer included.

She hearts devilled eggs so that's what we made, with a twist,

& stroganoff for our main dish.

I boiled eggs to make egg salad and for her to have

devilled eggs. Hoping maybe with an egg to spare for breakfast.

No breakfast egg but the lots of fun and

creativeness of daughter made it OK.

Notice the two colors?

That's because daughter decided to try

egg salad in the eggs too. Devilled eggs

with egg whites (in the egg white), yolk mix, tuna & onion.

Not bad actually and she loved them.

Of course the regular recipe eggs are more yellow.

After we enjoyed our eggs, some batting practice and

homework we moved on to the main dish -

stroganoff. YUM!

Made with turkey meat, chopped onion, some spices

& pasta we made

Wa La!

This cooking thing isn't so bad after all.

Some Goood Eats!

We had dinner with the inlaws recently.

It was sooo very good.

As usual.

We had a few items we have not tried before.

That's how it is at their house.

They love to cook so every meal is a surprise.

New recipes all of the time.

A typical meal consists of:

This meal included goat ribs, butternut squash & risotto.

Yes, you read correctly - GOAT RIBS.

They were delish!

I know. I know.

A ton of food on that plate, right?

So my eyes were bigger then my tummy.

Who cares! It was good!

Oh and I ate it ALL. Yes I did. True story.

Father-in-law puts some yummy rub on his ribs.

Very yummy.  Never a bad meal in that house.

And of course, we brought home leftovers. 

Thank goodness!

So Random *** Today

Just random ramblings...today. Random Ramblings are just that.
Just Random.

Wholey where did January go? 11 months until Christmas...again. This is not a bad thing. 7 months until we start seeing the decor. Yes it's true.

In life - I'm happy. We are happy. We are great really.

Need to feel sand between my toes. STAT! That would be marvelous.  We heart the beach. San Diego is our cheap Hawaii. We need a cheap Hawaii vaca. ASAP

LOVE - So important. Love your family. Love your life.

Tummy rumblings...ya not so much today. Not feeling well so soup it is!
Nothing beats warm, pucker your lips and squint your eyes hot, broth.
In my opinion.

I am wrapped up warm. Nice soft blankie (thank you Mr. Babe) and a fire.  So cozy. Cozy so.

Just about Olympic time. YAY! Can't wait. The winter sports are my favorite to watch.

So Lost premiers tonight. The Final Chapter is what they are calling it.  Honestly, this show LOST me in the second season. Haven't seen it since.  I must say I am a little curious to see what is happening on the island...ohh...hmm now that I think about it maybe not so curious.

Amazingly Fancy - THE Baby Shower

Baby shower...oh fabulous baby shower.

My cousin is prego...an adorable prego

I might add.

(in my opinion)

Husband and I headed to Fresno this weekend.

I attended THE fabulous shower while

Husband golfed with Uncle.

We both had a great time. A fantastic time.

I must say Cousin's shower was THE sweetest
party I have been too in a really long time.
My Aunt, along with some of Cousin's friends,
really out did themselves.
They thought of everything:

At the restaurant...By The Sea
this safari themed gathering was PERFECT
with flower arrangements (calla lillies),
the lunch menu printed on safari paper with a
ribbon bow on the top,
two-tier cake
(bottom was leopard print & top was zebra print)
accompanied by edible jungle animals
and a tree on top.
All edible...it was adorable.

Ahhh...can't wait to meet the little guy!

After the shower and the golf
we hung out at home, ate take-out,
watched Sherlock Holmes (good movie) &
got giddy over all of the adorable baby presents.

The UGG Chronicles

Dear Uggs,

Oh how I love you so.

Especially in the winter.  This wet winter.

I have worn you along with my

next favorite thing -

denim.

Yep, every day for two and a half weeks

you have warmed my feet.

Kept them dry.

Brought a comfy twinkle to my eye.

Really.

Thank you hunny for my Uggs.

I love them both equally.

Well ok, maybe the tall ones a little

more than the short ones, but you get it.

After that, the hunt was on.

In conclusion, if you don't

have a pair of Uggs I suggest you get some.

I'm Happiest When...

husband, daughter and i are relaxing.

watching a movie. eating popcorn.

playing a game.

i really love them to the fullest capacity possible

and on and on and on

my family is together and having fun.

all of us.

my friends are gathering.  talking. laughing.

the cutest, funniest, sweetest, smartest sounding things

come out of daughter's mouth.

my family and friends are healthy.

i have a glass of red wine and and good reality show.

inspiration hits me.  out of the blue.  it's true.

client's feel satisfied with the sale or purchase of THE home.

I like seeing them smile.

i learn new things.  this is happening often.

really, in a nut shell

i am just happy.

So BL and Idol were both on last night.

Both good shows that never disappoint.

So far...So good

WOW, not sure what to think about

Red team or Green team for that matter.

I think Red lady threw the weigh-in

as Jillian & Bob suspected.

I don't really care for them (her) because of that.

back to it...

I do understand that Red team had to give out the cards.

Yay! for Mike and John for prevailing.

John couldn't use the gym - card recipient.

&

Mike got some crap from his housemates that

could have hurt his confidence. But nope.

He rocked on!

Right now, Mike is my fave.

BUT if Sunshine & her dad come back then he might get bumped.

Hmmm Green, you disappointed me.

Attitude. Attitude. Attitude.

That is all I have to say.

Moving on...

Idol ~ not much to say.

Just another good show.

However, I wasn't to thrilled with the

guest judges last night.

Don't get me wrong, I like their music.

Great performers for sure.

There was just something about how they acted last night.

Oh well...still fantastic.
